A documentary about the drought in South Africa

50 Liters Life, produced by Puffin Media House, is a feature length documentary telling the severe drought occurred in South Africa. Cape Town and Western Cape region have been affected by instability condition for many years because of the worst water crisis ever seen before.
Since 2015 more and more irregular rainfalls have dried up dams’ level, forcing the Local Government to ask citizens to reduce drastically water consumption. Each citizen should not use more than 50 liters of water per person per day. This situation has caused a huge disruption both in the city and in neighboring areas.
Whilst strategies carried out by the most ingenious citizens in order to save water have led to good results, on the other side the destiny of agriculture and of the poorest fringe of the population are still unknown.
Is it possible to live a 50 liters life?
Western countries are used to wasting up to 300 liters of water per person per day.
Since the effects of climate change are now evident, the unrestrained consumption of resources is a factor which can’t no more underestimate.
